Also when you right click on an add-on you dont get the menu that you would get when you used firefox 3 with version 6.0.4.1 installed

yeah context menus are broken, assume everything is broken except the following:

- it will install
- extension dropdown lists should be working
- simple overlay to new extension window, but functionality borked
- chrome editor works
- copy userAgent/Build ID works
- Window title options should work for Windows/Linux

Known:
- addon installation is actually completely disabled
- make compatible will probably be removed (new default setting works ok)
- my config doesn't work
- load in tab doesn't work
- theme switcher menu from tools doesn't work
- auto archive STILL doesn't work
- nothing really works

That's what we're doing here - testing. And that doesn't involve whining. Just testing and reporting.

Heho, had to try it:) Installs fine on Fx 3.6.15 but the dropdowns from the toolbarbuttons don't work. Didn't really check anything more... Went back to latest AMO-version.

user helper wrote:i installed this http://mrte.ch/toolkit and then the add-ons manager tab is now its own exasperate window and greasemonkey's add-on manager extension does not show up. i uninstalled it so i could get greasonkey's add-on manager extension back. i love that it works with firefox 4 but needs to have the option to switch between the add-ons manager tab and the add-ons manager separate windows. and it needs to work in the add-on manager tab.

To open the addon manager in a tab you have to change a defaul option in mrt: open mrtech toolkit option an go to admin - behaviour - and change select destiny.

The first option "new tabs" open a window, the second "new tabs" open the addon only if you have opened a black tab, the third "window or current tab" do that, the four open in a sidebar(no manageable).

Use the third

There are a lot of things that aren't working for me in Firefox 4.

I'm using the latest nightly MR Tech Toolkit addon. And I'll like to mention that somehow the Addons Manager always opens in the windowed mode instead of new tab (opening in the new tab is the default function in Firefox 4). And if I open the addons manager in by about:addons, it opens in new tab but then there's no File/Tools/Options/Links Menus on top left. The reason this windowed mode is problematic is that somehow the window is oddly sized every time I start it. Wish to see this being fixed. :)
