I picked Free Download manager.

Then disabled Flashgot to see what Free Download Manager does or does not do by itself.

Free download manager appears to download just fine. I tried an mp3 and a youtube video.

So What is purpose of Flashgot?

First of all thxs for this great plugin, but right now i have a problem with it.

I installed Reget Deluxe, but flashgot can't detect it, i tested the plugin with flashget and no problem. I don't know what to do, i reinstalled it and nothing seems to resolve the problem with reget deluxe detectation.

BTW i have Flashgot 1.1.7.6 and my version of Reget Deluxe is 5.2 (build 330).

did you try enabling the ReGet integration (either the IE or, better, the Firefox one) from ReGet?

Ok, the problem was than when i installed reget deluxe, i don't know why it didn't intall the reget plugin in firefox. When i manually did it, flashgot detected it. BUT the problem is not completly solved, because now when i try to download something i select Flashgot [Reget] and the program (reget deluxe) doesn't do anything, it's like nothing happened.

could you try installing both the IE and the ReGet plugin?

You were right Giorgio, i reinstalled the reget deluxe and the flashgot plugin and everything is working now.

Fantastic Add-on... I have used it for a while with Internet Download Accelerator (IAC) without any problems. Until today.

Recently updated to version 1.1.7.6, but now only the top level domain seems to be passed to IAC.

For example. When I'm on a page like:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/23891255@N02/3227365595/
I used to see the picture in the IAC list for selection.

now all I see is
http://www.flickr.com/

filter is set to no filter and the option for "Include images in current page" is checked.

Everything was working fine in version 1.1.7.5

I'll even be your tester if you need one.

I've been user of FlashGot for years and found it truly amazing.
Now I see a possible bug?
Go to the page http://www.loc.gov/rr/frd/Military_Law/ ... inals.html
It contains several links to PDF documents. To me there's nothing special in the page, yet "Download all" function fails to notice all PDFs.
I use ReGet. On all other pages "Download all" function works well.





Of course no filters applied.
