Download manager on Mac OS X

I noticed that the downloads do not appear in the Download manager on OS X. I am using Build ID 2002101408 Moz 1.2b. Anyone know if this is just being temporarily disabled in this build?

Download manager has never worked for me either. Not in OS 9, not in OS X. I thought it was a neglected area, until I saw a colleague using NS 7 where it worked as it should...
