bug in cache compare (once by session) : not working

hi,

i noticed it since a lot of months (about 6 i think).

now, seamonkey 2.32 have bug or fail to compare a page with the cache setting "once per session".

here an example you can test i hope : the program tv in France
today look at it :
http://www.programme-television.org/

and tomorrow , look at it again ! it will be the same
whereas you have to do RELOAD to have the real new of the day !


i got another site to test, but once by week the page is changed (every friday) :
http://www.france2.fr/emissions/on-n-est-pas-couche

Of course, the bug does not appen on every website, but i caught this 2 one where it comes !

i hope you 'll discover what the problem is.

Can you install HTTPFox and compare the logged request(s) when you see this issue to when it works as expected? (in particular, Method / Result / Type / URL)

you know, now i use 2.33.1 and this bug is still here.
every day i consult thsi pages :

there i got no session at all, no login , nothing. and many time i have to hit the relaod button to not have the page of the previous day !

there is really something wrong....

Try to set:
Menu -> Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Cache -> "Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network: Every time I view the page"

two weeks ago, i switched to "everytime i view the page" mode cache, and there i have not this problem anymore.

so i guess it comes from "once by session" mode only.

the differences user-experience between this two modes is (i guess) the performance/speed for comparing content and caches files. as i have a good hardware computer, i can affrod me this performace of comparaison at every page.
