With the install of 2.32, all my RSS feeds stopped except one from theregister.co.uk. This was odd. I discovered the other sites were still sending RSS feeds, but not showing up on my Blogs and News Feeds. (Snopes.com for example.) I also did tests to learn if I can add new RSS feeds. Mostly no. I can add other news feeds from theregister.co.uk but not others. (I only tested for a few others. This was not extensive.)

An internet search gave me a clue that others were having the same problem.

My current solution is to go back to version 2.30 and that fixes everything. (I suppose 2.31 would work, but I had 2.30 handy.)

I found the bug mentioned on the web, I did not find it doing a search for it in the bug reporting. (I found older RSS bug listings, but not for the current version. I may have missed it.)

I put the information here, to share the solution I have found to help others. ](*,)
No idea why 2.32 works with a few RSS feeds and not all.

Ok, so moving to SeaMonkey Bugs after all (as it was initially posted in Firefox Bugs), given that it's an identified and filed bug.

Same over here. The feed to http://velotraum.de/news/ works, but all other do not work any more. Adding also not possible. I will search for older version too in the meantime.

The fix is supposed to come with 2.32.1, which is expected within the next few days, but it hasn't been approved for the release yet (that's in the hands of the Thunderbird release drivers as it's shared code).

Generally true. However Thunderbird does all their releases off the comm-ESR branch. They don't use comm-release at all. Which means comm-release is de facto controlled by the SeaMonkey team. [insert evil mad scientist laugh]

Sure. Anyway, there are candidate builds for 2.32.1 up now which contain the fix for this specific bug. Unless there are any issues with those, expect the official release over the weekend.
