hi,

i use seamonkey SM2.35 on win7 X34

since a couple of day, i have this in my cache folder :
Code: Select all
Cache\
Cache.Trash12594\
cache2\
_CACHE_CLEAN_

when i delete the cache from the setting menu, it does not clean it, even after computer reboot.

can i delete all folders wihout a risk to lose my profil/history/bookmark ?

have a good day.
Mike

Close SeaMonkey (all windows) and delete "cache" folders from you profile. Correct one should be (re-)created after next SeaMonkey start.

i set up my cache folder in C:\temp\_cache\mozilla\ , there were the 3 folders i quoted.

so, i will delete them after close seamonkey and check&kill seamonkey process are closed

Also note that in the change from 2.33.1 to 2.35 they reverted from the new /cache2/ to the older /cache/ cache directory format, so possible that you may have a (now unused) /cache2/ hanging about (which can be deleted).

(And actually the diagram from the OP shows just that.)
