error in downloading recent Sea Monkey update

I have tried to download the most recent Sea Monkey download. I had no problem until I get to the Custom/or Standard screen. When I choice either one, I keep getting a pop-up box telling me that "I must close Sea Monkey to continue". The problem is that I have closed it all. I tried accessing it directly through my download page without even opening any browsers, but especially not Sea Monkey, and I still get the error message. I have never had this problem before, and have no idea what the heck is the problem. Please keep in mind I know NOTHING about computers. I am lucky I can even type (LOL). Can someone please help me? Moving to SeaMonkey Support.

Have you reboot the computer after downloading the installer program and before running the installer?

From where?

Did you check Task Manager to see if seamonkey.exe had hung as a Process?

Does the same happen if you restart your computer prior to attempting the install?
