I'm using Seamonkey 2.49.5, Win7 HP
3 Days ago (10.2.) it happend that my complete browser history was cleared.
But at the same day, after this clearing it seems it did work ok.
Today (12.2.) I noticed that only the the history browsing from 11.2. 00:00 was still there.
All other history cleared again.
Someone has any ideas ?
Is there any auto clearance in SM ?
Not having my complete history is extremely annoying and uncomfortable.
Ty all

Re: Browser History Bug ?
Using any extension that may be affecting what you're seeing?
Using an external program (ccleaner perhaps) that may be affecting what you're seeing?
(On my end I might not particularly notice, but can't say I've run into anything similar.)

Fire 750, bring back 250.

Re: Browser History Bug ?
2.49.x can kill the history if you pick the wrong delete option. Some Mozilla apis where changed and we didn't find out until it was too late. But unless you try to expire history by days or using other non default options interactively this should not happen. I also suspect some background cleaner or add-on.
CCleaner picks up SeaMonkey as Firefox. Don't let it touch your profile. It is ok for Windows and the registry only.

Re: Browser History Bug ?
PS: I don't have any extensions which might do that. And BTW i installed my last one half a year ago.
I got my "not that old history" back when i changed "remember form and search history" to 365 days (before it was about 178).
But my original/old still are lost.
Could this be a date problem ? It happened at 10.02.2020
Or are there any hot/short keys to clean up history immediately?
ty anyway
