My sidebar doesn't open

Post by General E »

Hey. I'm pretty new to the whole MOzilla scene (after being disappointed with Netscape 6.x, Mozilla saved me), but I just went from Version 1.1 to 1.2b (with a two-day flirtation with Phoenix 0.4 in the meantime). I tried to setup my sidebar but it will not open. At first I thought it may have been a theme-related issue, but it won't open in any theme. Is this a bug? Or is this a problem I'm having. I"m running Win2K ... any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

After trying several times to unsuccessfully open the sidebar, the F9 shortcut opened it. After opening it once, the clickable open/close button finally worked. So, if any of you have trouble opening the sidebar after a new Mozilla install, use F9 or View->Sidebar. Then, the on-screen button will work.
