Yeah, congrats to the SeaMonkey Council, you guys have worked hard on this.
I think that it's an excellent release. I prefer it to Firefox 4.0.1 (mind you, I've always preferred SeaMonkey).

I'll probably grab it, just to see...but after my recent miseries, which forced me to switch to firefox & thunderbird, it is doubtful that I will switch back.
Pity.

Re: Some good news, some bad news
I updated to 2.1, because of sync (I have FF4 on my laptop).
The changes in the bookmark section required me to import a backup to recover my bookmarks. There should be some automatic way to do that.
Now everything is ok, and syncing the bookmarks between FF4 and SM2.1 works nicely.
Unfortunately, some addons unexpectedly do not work anymore, most notably
- Fireftp -> very much needed! Any way to get it working again?
- EPUBReader
So, in total, I regret to have upated too early.
Edit:
btw., it would be a good idea to include fireftp in SM. The built-in uploading function is just too basic.

InvisibleSmiley has created a list of add-ons which have been verified to work (or not to work):
