After this back-to-back marathon with the 2.1 and 2.2 releases, he certainly deserves a 6-week break until 2.3 is due! The missed bugs shouldn't be blockers, thus if they can still go in that's fine, but it shouldn't be much of a problem if they have to take the next train...

Could you tell me how to apply the patch? Thanks.

Easy to screw up things if not done right, but here the instructions to apply it to an installed version: - Make a copy of omni.jar as a backup
- use a ZIP tool to extract chrome/toolkit/content/global/autocomplete.xml
- make the change described here with a text editor (or use a patch program)
- package back chrome/toolkit/content/global/autocomplete.xml into omni.jar
- start SeaMonkey

There are files there now - but only for MAC and Linux, no Windows yet. Goodness, three hours of sleep! I couldn't function with that little sleep - well, at least at my current age.

ElTxolo, you are welcome! jtek, look at http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... ned/win32/ (they aren't signed yet, thus you'll get some "unknown publisher" warning when installing them.) Edit: Too late, was already answered.

Thanks ElTxolo and rsx11m - I never think to look in there for some reason. I retract my former statement...

<therube> Callek: i wasn't clear from earlier, when you were talking about a possible build2, was/is there going to be a build2 spun before the actual release is put out? <KaiRo> therube: yes, we will need another build for 2.2 final before making this live, as we missed two small patches in build1 <therube> thanks.

Thanks therube, so those apparently/likely are the ones we have identified. Repositories have rotated today, but SM 2.2 sits on its own release branch.
The fix for #665538 (in #642420) was approved for the beta channel = 2.2.

I could do it thirty, even twenty years ago. But certainly not these days. Three days of sleep deprivation at a science-fiction convention those days were great! Phil

SEAMONKEY_2_2_BUILD2 is in progress, bug 665313 landed on the relbranch, but not 642420 which fixes the context menu. It would have to land on the mozilla-release relbranch, so that may be a bit more complicated even if it has approval already for landing on mozilla-beta.
