there are official 64bit nightly trunk builds of SM for Windows recently.

as for "default" 64bit builds for any platform, not likely to happen soon until they change the build infrastructure.

And with that it's time to let this tired old thread have some rest.

Locking as the original posts date back to 2011. If the question arises again a new topic can be created.

Mac OSX has had 64-bit for a very long time in combined 32/64-bit as it was needed much like it was for Firefox. However Firefox 53.0 and later has dropped support for 32-bit on Mac so any SM built on Gecko newer than 52.0 ESR will likely drop 32-bit for Mac then also.

64-bit SeaMonkey (en-US) for 64-bit Linux has existed for quite some time now and was even listed in https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/seamonk ... ases/2.48/ however sometime after Release they just kept it listed in Contrib folder as there is still only en-US.

I do have the 64-bit Linux SeaMonkey 2.48 Release but have an issue with HTML5 at moment so I still use 2.46 also.
