Seamonkey binaries are unsigned?

I'm using the zipped version and the executables for the Win32 binaries of Seamonkey are unsigned.

Is this a big deal and are there plans to sign the .exe in the future?

Bug 817383 - SeaMonkey needs new (public) GPG key, in order to support signing releases properly
Fire 750, bring back 250.
