PHP

Post by whitehairedgeezer »

Probably not the right place to ask but my hosting site is badgering me to upgrade to PHP 7. Now I'm a beginner so have no idea what this means - I just use Seamonkey to produce HTML pages for a local charity and leave the rest to people who know what they are doing. So - does Seamonkey write scripts which are acceptable to the site PHP 7 and do you advise me to upgrade? Does the question even make sense?

Are you using PHP when writing those HTML pages?

Do you have PHP installed on your computer?

There appear to be several versions available.

PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor
Linux Desktop - AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 455 3.3GHz | 8.0GB RAM | GeForce GT 630
Windows Notebook - AMD A8 7410 2.2GHz | 6.0GB RAM | AMD Radeon R5
