Edit : Command line Option -purgecaches (prefixed by space) is 100% successful at stopping all breakings. Might be overkill, but worth knowing.

If you added the command line option, -purgecaches to your shortcut, would that accomplish the same (except for the cost of it actually doing the purge)?

100% fixed on Version 2.53.2 beta 1 pre
Build ID 20200131130001

No performance hit seen at all. No .little file created. scriptCache-child-current.bin and scriptCache-current.bin still created (as expected) in startCache folder.

Will continue real world testing on this build over next few days, but looking like a win to me.
