Adobe flash

For some reason all the time when I want to do actions in my mozilla it is asking me to Activate Adobe Flash (check for updates)
What is wrong with my previous adobe? I can't get it

Are you running the current version of Flash, 23.0.0.162? Check that under menu path Tools->Addons->Plug-ins.

Unfortunately almost all versions of Flash Player since Dec 2014 have been affected by critical vulnerabilities and warranted being set to soft blocking aka click to activate. Before Dec 2014 there was actually a long time period since Feb/Mar 2013 of when Flash Player versions was not added to blocklist as the security concerns then was not severe enough to warrant doing so.

Also the browser is Mozilla Firefox or Firefox for short as Mozilla is the company.
