Migrate Firefox Profile from Windows to macOS

Post by Prince_Rogue »

Hello,
I wish to move my Firefox profile from Windows to my Mac. Tried to make sense of the command line options. I would greatly appreciate it if someone can tell me the steps I need to accomplush this. Thanks much.

I would backup the folder, and drop it into macOS profile folder. You can try to create a clean folder on mac to find the location on about:profiles. But it's better to fire up temp firefox account, and sync it, rather than copy paste and drop it into other OSes.

Command line options are not normally needed when migrating a profile.

Or turn on Firefox Sync on your Windows computer, make sure it syncs, then turn it on on the Mac and let it sync.
