Google Lens

Post by iflog »

I'm told that this is a Chrome feature but its on in Firefox. I've disabled it in my Chrome browser but it still shows up in Firefox when I drag and drop a link. I even downloaded a app called Disable Google Lens and that didn't work. Any ideas how I can stop this? Thank you.

Are you dropping a link in Google's search box on Google's search page?

Google Lens feature on Google's search page has nothing to do with Firefox, right?

Chrome has the "Search image with Google" context menu item when right clicking on an image that can be toggled with the #enable-lens-standalone flag. Firefox doesn't have a similar context menu item.

That addon redirects a Google Lens url to a normal Google image results url after a drag and drop for me.

I have tried the add-on Disable Google Lens and it does nothing. It still pops up when I drag and drop a link.
