Phoenix crash

Post by Kristoph »

Ok, that one is weird and I don't know if it's Phoenix fault at all, but I think I should mention it here.

When I use Phoenix 0.4 on my Windows 2000, if I go to some pages like : linuxfr.org, Phoenix freezes my PC during the loading/display of the page.

I can see the page correctly with only half of the top left image before the computer freezes. The mouse can still move for a some time but soon the PC speaker will emit a sound ( weird since I have a real sound card ) and then all that is left is the reset button.

I couldn't reproduce it on another PC but it's not a random lockup at all. Always crashes on that same page and a few other pages that I can't remember. So much for Windows 2000 stability no ;)

Must be something weird on my conf that is triggered by that site :/ There's probably no way for me to find what it is.

I guess I'll have to reinstall then.
