okay, everytime i want to "save target as..." i dont even get that option, instead i get " "open link in new window" "open link in new tab" "bookmark this link" etc. etc.

whats up??

ehh? when you right-click on a link, the option "Save Link As..." is there. Is that what you're talking about?

"Save Link As" is the same thing as "Save Target As..."

You can also try Alt+Clicking on a link.
