Clearing the search history

Post by Dragon365 »

Hello Everyone,

I am using Phoenix 0.4 and I would like to know how to clear the search history in the google bar - i don't feel like seeing 10 different things pop up when I enter one letter. Clearing the history or cache doesn't seem to work. Any help appreciated - thanks.

I assume you want to clear the history of the Phoenix-specific search bar, not the extension named GoogleBar. Locate your profile dir and delete search.rdf in there without Phoenix running. This should be a workaround until it gets hooked up to "Clear History" in the preferences panel.

We'll, I've deleted every instance of search.rdf on my drive, but all of my searches still appear - now what?
