Kiosk - Turn Phoenix into a kiosk browser

Post by amutch »

I've written up a doc. that explains how to turn Phoenix into a kiosk browser.

http://tln.lib.mi.us/~amutch/pro/phoenix/kiosk.htm

I think this will be very helpful for those who need a secure web browser for public access computers or other kiosk environments. Take a look at the doc. and let me know of any additions/corrections/questions that you might have.

Personalize your interface

Thanks Ed. I should also add that the tutorial shows how easy it is to customize the Phoenix interface so that the menus and buttons look exactly the way that YOU want it. Do you want to clean up your context menus or reorder them to your liking? It's not really that hard and if you can edit HTML code, you can edit XUL.
