turn off "download plugin"?

Post by Big J »

I don't have flash installled. Everytime I hit a page that uses it I get the popup to ask if I want to download the plugin. Anyway to turn this off?

Move the default plugin out of the <Pheonix dir>/plugins directory. The name depends on your system: it's npnul32.dll on Win and libnullplugin.so on Unix (to find out, look at "about:plugins").

Thanks, that did it.

And although it's been years I last typed it, your tip of about:plugins reminded me of about:mozilla .
