hi,
I'm with firefox 3.51. When in CTRL+F mode, there's a "highlight all" button. Is there any way that this button be pressed by default? ---- for example, every time I click a link, the tab content changes, and I have to press "highlight all" button again .....so I'd like it pressed forever.
"highlight all" button pressed down by default?

Not to my knowledge... but I do know that you are using a version of Firefox that is now 18 months old and has many many known security vulnerabilities, so you really should consider updating to the most recent version which would be 3.6.13. Or at the least, update the latest security release for 3.5, which would be 3.5.16.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

Unfortunately this addon hasn't worked since about Firefox 9.0. There are several others and none of them work other than FindBar Tweak. Unfortunately it has a nasty bug of not resizing the window properly and will cut off parts of a page. I just wish this feature was a built in option in Firefox. I keep having to cycle addons to restore this functionality. New Firefox versions seem to constantly break addons that tweak the find/quick bar.
