Java error message

Post by doug »

I'm getting an error message every time I close Phoenix (0.5) and need help to fix it. The error message is:

You are using java designed for Netscape Navigator with MS IE. You should install java for MS IE instead.

This, despite the fact that I have not opened IE in weeks.

You're getting this error because you have Phoenix's user agent set to say that it's IE.

Depends on how you changed it. If you have UA Bar or a similar extension installed, you can change it from there. If not, go to your profile dir, look for user_pref("general.useragent.override", "<UA string>"); in user.js and prefs.js and delete this line from both.
