Can't find my profile folder

I'm looking at this help page (and am running XP):

"On Windows 2000/XP, the path is usually %AppData%\Phoenix\Profiles\default\xxxxxxxx.slt\."

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but am I looking for a folder called '%AppData%'? I can't find anything like that on my C: drive.

Or perhaps I have to physically create the folder and .slt myself? In which case the question still remains: where should I put it?

Note: I have managed to fire up profile manager, and (supposedly) a profile has been created for me - but where?

Sorry, bit thick and confused today (more so than usual).

c:\Documents and Settings\(your user name)\application data\phoenix

You have to first enable hidden folders in your Folders/tools/folder options

under view select "Hidden Folders" Show Hidden Folders...

Maybe I should clarify that you need to enter this path in the address field of an explorer window or select Start->Run.

Just enter %AppData% and press enter.

I just find it more comforting to go there manually in exporer and then put the things I edit in my texturizer favorites...

I have a favorite in Texturizer pointing to my profile folder, that's pretty neat.

Texturizer is your baby isn't it? It's sooo much better than the MS alternatives...

Thanks. Yes, it's my baby. Or was. It's been a while since the last time I worked on the project. Right now I'm fighting with M$ because they provide me with buggy activex objects.

Oh, I didn't realize that you were involved with texturizer. I guess I should have made the connection. I used it for quite a long time. I switched to Object Edit when I subscribed to ODNT.
