idea for alternate name for "Sanitize Firefox" but

Post by holy_saiyan1 »

I made up some ideas for alternate names for the proposed "Sanitize Firefox" button that clears the cache, cookies, etc.

Please feel free to give comments and add your own ideas

(What I think would be good for the text on the button)
-Scrub Firefox
-Wash
-Scrub
-Clean Up

Give your ideas or comments :)

The new Prefwindow V is broken in Linux right now on the official GTK2 builds. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283738 *sighs*

Rohal and James-

Thanks for the info. As for a name, how about " The I Was Never Here Button" ?

Buttwipe was underepresented in your poll.

Mrs. Butt Cleanse is a close second.

"Neuter" is the most descriptive term. Unless I am worried about someone sneaking onto my computer I have no need to gut the browser by deleting all (as opposed to selective) cookies, cache, form info and passwords. I am a single WinXP user but I could control access by requiring other users to use passwords.

Why do you think these things are saved? Just to take up disk space?

As far as the downloads manager, you can already control that from Tools/Privacy/Download Manager History.

In en-US.jar\locale\browser\preferences\privacy.dtd you could change "Sanitize Settings..." to whatever you like. I'll stay with the Sanitize :)
