Couple thoughts...

What would the police or military call the act of removing / destroying "Sensitive information" or "Evidence" ?

I bet some goverment agency probably already uses the termonology we're looking for, or at least something close to it.

OK, another idea...

Get rid of the words all together, and just have a little picture of a bar of soap.

Think about that for a moment. Would you even be able to recognize the picture as a bar of soap at that size, in that context?

Took me about a week to figure out it didn't mean that :/

"Delete Temporary Data" seems pretty self-explanatory and not too verbose. Similarly "Sanitize Settings" could become "Temporary Data Deletion Settings...".
