This just started since updating to 16. Seems to occur only on wake. This is just a small sample. I can post the full log, if that will be helpful. Is anyone else seeing this? (User name has been edited out.) Seeing some chmods and chowns. Could this be related to the new VoiceOver? Don't know what to make of this. Whatever it is, Firefox 16 doesn't appear to be talking correctly to OS X. I don't know more than that. Bug report to Mozilla?

Do you mean Firefox Safe Mode or Mac Safe Mode? I lose Airport/Wi-FI in Mac Safe Mode, so no Internet there. But I suppose it might be a test anyway.

Will have to try in Fx Safe Mode. Btw, I just filed a bug report.

It looks like everything is working; it's just very loquacious all of a sudden.

He means Firefox Safe mode. Can you also post a link to your bug?

Same issue on Windows with standard FF 16.0.1, where FF is started from a batch file.

The other recent change which may be related is that the CMD command prompt window no longer closes after the last command is executed.
