See above. I spoofed the user agent and it works fine.

Does SeaMonkey enforce signing for extensions?

Thanks. Worked on a couple I've tried. Will check the rest of my "must have" extensions.

Will now also add my userChrome.css tweaks with the proper id's using the DOM inspector.

Make sure you get this extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamon ... n/sea-fox/
A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.

UPDATE:

Have been playing with SM for about four hours. Found SM compatible extensions for some of my "must haves", for other "must haves" used the converter recommended by mightyglydd successfully and in a couple of cases I found SM compatible alternatives. So far 16 work and only one is not working properly (Clippings).

I have also managed to place some of my tweaks in the userChrome.css file once identifying the proper "id".

At this point would say that SM is about 85% of where it needs to be to be equivalent to FF for my purposes. Also found a number of extensions I can live without.

Thanks. CookieKeeper is one of my "must haves" and use in both FF and SM. If this keeps moving along may try using SM as my main browser next week.

Hey R, I know similar threads exist but shouldn't this be split off to a new thread here....? http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... #p14733443
I'm sure as the doomsday clock ticks down more folks may be interested.
@Don't forget the icing on the cake.. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamon ... te-themes/ 1,2 and 3 :)

Let me think of how to structure it and what to call it. Also the thread you listed is this one (little confused). You are correct there may be others who are dreading the arrival of FF57.
