I have a number of remote machines that were configured incorrectly with Password manager set to save logons. I need to remotely ( via SCCM ) turn this off AND be able to delete all existing saved passwords & logons. I know I can send out a modified prefs.js but can't figure out where the pwords are saved and how I can get rid of them remotely. Is there a file I can delete to remove all of the saved logins & passwords ?
Running Win7 & FF 52
Thanks,
Steve

Logins and passwords are stored in your profile folder. In current versions, this would be in logins.json. You would also need to delete the key3.db file.

thanks dfoulkes, I did see that. wondering if I can delete the logon.json file as well as the cert8.db & key3.db file, new prefs.js and then restart the browser. assume a new key3 & cert8 and logon.json file would get created

All of that should be recreated... but as always... make a back up of those files... JIC.
