IMHO? Those that have used CTR, for example, since Firefox 29 will have the most trouble trying to adjust. since they stuck to 'the old ways' and the rest of the world moved on.

Ya think? maybe?
I think those that have used CTR will be happy with Photon, which brings back the text menu in the Menu Button and other changes. I think 'the old ways' making a comeback.

The big issue with 57.0 is the requirement for WebExtensions only and Legacy extensions will stop working.

I'll be using Firefox 59.0 Nightly when 57.0 is released.

Since the current plan, and that is always subject to change at Mozilla's whim is to maintain the legacy code in the nightlies I''ll be watching carefully for the hack that will allow it to run in release versions, particularly in 59esr. I predict we'll see it less than one day after 57 comes out.

Never heard of Photon. Where's the best place to download from? Thanks.

So will I, as long as they work on my hardware and operating system.

I also have a Release and Beta version installed.
I agree, I love Nightly, and Beta is very good as well, I imagine most extension developers will be trying their best to have the extensions compatible with FF 57.

In today's news.
Mozilla plans to add a feature to Firefox 57 which enables users to find replacements for extensions that are no longer supported by the browser.

Too bad I removed the disabled ones from my Nightly. #-o

There will be no viable replacements for DownThemAll, custom buttons, toolbar autohide, FindBar Tweak, and other valuable addons millions of us have been using for years.

Mozilla is wasting everyone's time with their nonsense by removing the only reason for staying with them.
