Hi,
I should think that it's a stupid message from your OS....10.
Apparently, it does not like any other browser to be used.
I believe that v10S will not allow any other browser to be installed......but I could be wrong.

I'm not seeing that message on my Win10. My experience with 'Edge' is that it crashes alot...
EDIT: Guess I should say that I don't have my Nightly set as 'Default' perhaps that's why I'm not seeing the nag.

It is one of the annoying messages put up by Win 10 to try to convert users from whatever their current
(non-MS) default browser may be to Edge. There are also "Hi, I'm Cortana" annoyances that pop up from time to time until you find the deeply buried settings to switch off the built in advertising.

It proclaims similar messaging against Chrome too. Your best bet is to turn off advertisements in Windows 10.

Thanks really much for all the replies.I also suspected that Microsoft was trying to pull of some stunt for there own software in these net browsers.Have used Firefox and Cyberfox for many years now and think they are really great.Have a nice day.
