.
I'm using FF57b9. I have installed Greasemonkey (WebExtension Alpha) 4.0alpha7.
I was able to install a couple scripts from https://openuserjs.org/ with no problem.
The issue I'm having is that I cannot install a script from my computer. It is a very simple test script that ends in .user.js I have installed it successfully in the old GM.
When I try to install by using open file or dropping it in the browser window I only see the code; I don't get the window asking me if I want to install.
Any thoughts?

Re: Greasemonkey Scripts won't install
as far i can see 4alpha7 cannot import local scripts. managing user scripts shows no scripts and nothing more.
dont worry - violentmonkey cant do this too. but VM can use by copy&paste.

Brummelchen, thank you. Just found VM and it works fine on my simple script. Has an issue on an older script someone else wrote. I hate fixing someone else's code but a very useful script so I may have to get my hands dirty.

Re: Greasemonkey Scripts won't install
thats a disadvantage from VM* - i has no syntax check like GM - some1 told me.
TamperMonkey** has syntax check if you need this feature (i am not very familiar with JS)
* https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... entmonkey/
** https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... permonkey/
sorry for inconvenience.
