How do I revert 57 back to 56

I keep re-installing FF56.02 and set settings to not update. When I restart FF it is version 57, how do I keep 56, I can't navigate in 57 without Tab Mix Plus open Tabs menu, I have over 300 tabs open

Firefox 52 ESR is an officially supported alternate track of Firefox that until mid 2018 will support tab-mix-plus and other addons. If you install it you will stay on the ESR track through updates:

If you really want to stay on Firefox 56, start by getting the full installer (30+ megabytes, not the 1mb or less stub installer).

Or, for your 300 tabs, try ctrl-shift-D to bookmark them all to a folder. Someday in the future if you need one of them, as you start typing in the URL bar it will suggest websites you have bookmarked.

The 57 64bit version on Win10 is unusable on my pc. Completely bloody well locks up. I'm using MS Edge for this forum... So I don't think it's my bloody system.
