I miss the bottom Status bar & the GO button.
Any way to get them back?

Yep, both easy enough.

@yochaim, I'm thinking you cannot hotlink an image the way you did?

To see it, thinking you're going to have to copy & paste this link: http://www.byo.co.il/Download/ff.jpg
(Well, maybe a hotlink will work.)

Utterly disgusting (if I want Safari/Chrome, then I'll use them - not something that just looks like them!) - and it lost all my stuff, bookmarks, the lot. I had a mad screaming fit, then reloaded FF 56.0.2 back - phew! Thank god for that - sanity reigns again. (And I'm never changing - not till it breaks!)

This is a re-post from an older forum thread.

Here's mine:

Image

- Removed a bunch of unnecessary menu items from the Hamburger menu
- Merged the Awesomebar with the rest of the addon icons so everything looks seamless
- Removed maximize icon and added the Downloads icon to the titlebar

I'm still using a few legacy addons though.

I was wondering why did they add the blue line on top of the tabs now? (& how could I get rid of it?)

It's there to distinguish the active tab from background tabs. Add what you prefer to your userChrome.css.

Code: Select all

/* Current tab emphasis line - hide it */
.tab-line { display: none !important; }
/* Current tab emphasis line - change its color */
.tab-line { background: red !important; }

Thanks for your reply. I'm having difficulties finding my Firefox Profile (chrome folder) on Mac, could you please help me out?

In the link above it says it should be here:

~/Library/Mozilla/
~/Library/Application Support/

However, it doesn't seem to be there. Please help?

P.S.: I have Stylish add-on on my Firefox, would it be easier simply inserting the above code lines there?

The easiest way to get to the folder is to use Help -> Troubleshooting Information. In the tab that opens, there's a button that you can use to open or show the folder in Finder.

As mentioned above, you can either open Help → Troubleshooting Information, or you can enter about:support into the location bar. On that page, click the "Open Folder" button.

Since Firefox 57, Stylish cannot affect the user interface. reStyle can do it, but in a way that's actually significantly worse than the built-in Firefox tools.

For Windows 10, does anyone know the name of the system variable I can use for the active window titlebar and titlebar text color? Used to be ActiveCaption and ActiveCaptionText or something similar. Thanks in advance!
