daily tab crashes

At least a dozen times a day my screen freezes up, soon followed by 'oops your tab has crashed' message from Firefox. Crash reports submitted each time. This has been going on for about a month now and still no fix. Getting aggravating. Anything I can do on my own?

I think you misunderstand the purpose of the crash reports. They are not intended to provide you with a response specific to your issues. They are only sent to help Mozilla identify problems common to many users and permit them to introduce solutions in future updates And, just so we're clear, we're not Mozilla. This forum is not run by or formally associated with Mozilla. We're an independent user-helping-user community.

Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
If no improvement using Safe Mode, do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

In address/url bar enter: about:crashes
Right-click 2 or 3 of your recent crashes and use: Copy Link Location...
Paste those link back here...

Maybe we can spot something.
