Another problem is that Firefox no longer works on all web sites. On some the page never finishes loading, on others the links to navigate the site no longer work. On these I go to Chrome and all works just fine. Edge and old Internet Explorer still seem to work as well. Except for these two points I prefer Firefox over other browsers and that is why I continue to use it.
Why Mozilla thinks that all web sites have to conform their site to work the way Mozilla wants is beyond me.

The Walmart links require session storage: dom.storage.enabled -> true
In addition to session storage the Vanguard one also requires a Referer Header: network.http.sendRefererHeader -> 2
The Walmart one is particularly annoying because at first glance they look like normal links but there is in fact a javascript click event attached to those links.
I routinely manipulate these preferences (using add-ons) but you do need to be alert to when this causes problems.
