Re: History question
AFAIK that Exceptions item that Dan posted is for cookies only... which in not the same as history... on way to handle specific history items might be this extension....tonino2424 wrote:i added the option allow for session but it is not deleting history after that. Why is that plz?

If that one doesn't work for you then you might want to do more searching in that extension site.

Re: History question
Did you first delete any existing cookies for that site? The block action is not retroactive.

Re: History question
Dan, I'm a little confused here. The OP is trying to 'not' retain browsing history for a site? (as mentioned in the second OP's post but using the word history)... or, is 'browsing history' not the subject here? ... seems to be a mix of blocking cookies and/or blocking browsing history. I'm probably reading too much into this.

Re: History question
I'm unclear as well. We'll have to wait for the OP to respond to see if we can get clarity as to whether this relates to actual site history or cookie retention.

Re: History question
Tools->Options->Privacy & Security->click on the "Show Cookies" button. Find the cookies you want to delete and click on the "Remove selected" button.

Re: History question
Not sure which extension solved your issue ... but you might want to look at this other one (if not the one you are using)...
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... 1/?src=api
I use it in my ESR version but I see that it works in the latest Firefox. The way that I used it was to install it, then remove ALL cookies... then I visited all my normal sites and via its icon you can tell it to keep cookies for that site and all other cookies will be removed as soon as you close those sites tabs... or close Firefox.
