What happened with Stylish?
A few minutes ago I got a pop-up telling me that Stylish 1.1b was dangerous and that I should update, but I have 3.05 installed. Seeing that even though I thought auto-update of addons was disabled it had updated in late May, I decided to revert to whatever the previous version was.
Checking the Firefox website, it seems Stylish has been removed from addons.mozilla.org.
Does anybody know what is going on? Searching on the web had nothing recent, but I did see an article or two that said that some time in the last year Stylish had been purchased and was now being used as spyware.
With that in mind, can somebody give me a link to where I can download a pre-spyware version of Stylish that works with Firefox 56 and/or 52ESR?
I consider it absolutely vital for reading SpaceBattles, Sufficient Velocity, and QQ due to that damn Invisitext, among a dozen other uses.
Alternately, an alternative I can use that can import all the other stylesheets?

Re: What happened with Stylish?
I just found "Stylus", but can somebody suggest an easy way to move all my styles from Stylish to Stylus?
I'm not sure I recall how to track them all down from the original sources and one of them was custom.
I know I could probably do it manually with the "write style", but that would be time-consuming and tedious, vs say just moving the files from one folder to another.

That.I did see an article or two that said that some time in the last year Stylish had been purchased and was now being used as spyware.
And now on Mozilla's blocklist, Bug 1472948 Blocklist Stylish add-on - sends full page urls to remote server.

Re: What happened with Stylish?
I managed to track down instructions for migrating to Stylus.
https://github.com/openstyles/stylus/wi ... -to-stylus
Interestingly, I just did some searches this afternoon and found a lot of results that were NOT coming up when I posted last night. Apparently Google search is updating to react to the development.
I double-checked and they were the same search terms.

It was not a hijack when it intended to do so.BobbyPhoenix wrote:Stylish was hijacked: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/ ... nline.html
Anyway, a new version of Stylish (3.1.2) appears on the web but you shouldn't trust it for the time being.
UPDATE: v3.1.2 is gone from AMO.
