IE in Windows 7 is nonworking. I have used Plain Old Favorites as I like the format they are in.
Now IE cannot be used to export favorites so I am wondering if there is a eay or an add on that can do this? Thanks.

Re: Firefox and IE Favorites
You should be able to import directly from IE without an extension. Bookmarks->Show all bookmarks->Import and backup=>Import from another browser.

It doesn't need to be working. Just point Firefox to the location of the Favorites folder.

Hi,
I suppose that you've tried at the WIN7 fora?

Maybe try to reset/remove & re-install IE11?

Re: Add On Replacement
I doubt if you will ever see a POF extension as a WebExtension. With the change from IE to Edge in Windows the "favorites" are thing of the past; thus the "market" is becoming more limited for that type of extension.

Re: Add On Replacement
Makes sense. Since FF 61 no longer supports the traditiona Favorites, can FF take the existing Favorites and turn them into Bookmarks? If so, is it possibe to then export them as HTML for other environments?
Sorry Brummer but the situation changed somewhat since that other post so its not a dupe.

It doesn't appear to have changed enough to call for a new topic so I've merged the two threads.Sorry Brummer but the situation changed somewhat since that other post so its not a dupe.
It [IE] doesn't need to be working. Just point Firefox to the location of the Favorites folder.
