Hide Tab Bar
Since this extension went away, I would like a recommendation for one that will work in FF 61. Thanks.

What did the extension do? What are you trying to accomplish?

Re: Hide Tab Bar
There isn't a toggle toolbar API for WebExtensions.
WebExtensions API
http://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs ... Extensions
Hide Tabbar (obsolete)
http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox ... de-tabbar/

Re: Hide Tab Bar
Well, according to the BC & the Addons site links, it's supposed to work with v59 & up.
Strange!

Re: Hide Tab Bar
The Hide Tabs extension works in Firefox Quantum.
IMO, the hiding tabs feature is not the same as the hiding tabbar feature.

Re: Hide Tab Bar
Let me clarify. In earlier versions, the Hide Tab Bar did just that, it hid the tab bar. I use ctrl-tab. Being low vision, this gives that much more usable screen space. Thanks guys.

Sorry to hear of your vision problem.
Have you tried using F11? Press the Function key. It toggles. On/Off.

Are you sure that you and I are talking about the same thing? Full screen is just that. A window that covers the whole monitor screen. It still shows the tabs, menu, etc at the top of the window. The Function 11 key removes the top of the window and moves it to the top of the monitor screen. This page, for example, starts with the sky graphic and the blimp at the top of the monitor.

We are. When I do not need full screen, I still find the tab bar unnecessary and would like to hide it.

Re: Hide Tab Bar
Okay. You don't want the tab bar in the window. My suggestion does not solve that. Sorry.Prince_Rogue wrote:We are. When I do not need full screen, I still find the tab bar unnecessary and would like to hide it.
I can be of no further help. Sorry. Good luck.

Was hoping someone could offer a solution. I tried searching the add ons.
