Forefox ESR Ubuntu PPA

Is anybody here affiliated with Firefox ESR 60.9 in the Mozilla Ubuntu PPA?
The web page indicates 60.9 is failing to build and has been in that status for about two weeks. Thanks. What sort of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.

I have no idea what that answer means. ![]() Looks like ESR is now abandoned in the Ubuntu ecosystem. If you click "Mozilla Team" at the top of the page you linked, the owner is shown as https://launchpad.net/~gnomefreak . I think implied is that they could be contacted to ask or inform them about the failures. See also here https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam and note that ESR 60 has reached its end and ESR 68 is the active version. Also, although PPA may have advantages, there are other ways to install Firefox ESR that should work in Ubuntu. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/in ... efox-linux
I don't see any gnomefreak link. Perhaps because I don't have an account.
Looks to me like ESR is abandoned. No updates in the PPA in many weeks. Not only was 60.9 never issued, there is no 68.x either. I found a Mozilla security team PPA, but the last version is 68.0 in August. Version 68.2 was released several days ago. While installing a newer ESR outside package management might suffice for a single user, the option is not palatable for somebody who has to administer multiple systems. That would be a sysadmin nightmare. ![]()
