Unhappy with legacy addons removed

Post by nzoomed »

Ive been a huge user of firefox since its inception and its sad to see so many addon developers just leave and stop supporting the new versions of firefox.
I used to use the classic toolbar buttons extention, and its no longer available, along with classic theme restorer. For this reason, I had been sticking with version 56 for some time until it decided to update without my permission for whatever reason.

What toolbar icon extensions even exist on version 72? I cant see any. Im just stuck with the boring black icons.

It's been over two years since Legacy extensions were killed.

Don't you think it's time to get over it already?

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.

This is a collection of extensions meant to replace toolbar buttons, each button will be its own extension (that is the method used in webextensions).

Huh ? None of those extensions have anything to do with the OP's complaint/request.

This does. https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx

:-k Do you have any idea how customizable Fx used to be ?

Well I think its pretty poor that there are bugger all addons available since 2 years have passed.
Many developers have said they are not going to bother with making new addons, so that says alot dont you think?
