Warning: Logitech smooth scroll addon STOPS Firefox scrollin

Post by Flycaster »

I have been using Logitech's Setpoint with its M570 trackball for a long time. While trying to solve a problem, I came across the Logitech smooth scroll addon, which I dl'd and installed. My mouse no longer could scroll with the wheel, but I could scroll with cursor on side scroll bar. Upon removing the app, all is well again. Admittedly, I could be wrong, or there could be another solution...?

Just a guess but it probably has a conflict with the scrolling setup in Firefox or your system controls.
The add-on seems to me superfluous particularly if it's not in the current extension list and came from third party..

I use the SetPoint add-on together with the relevant SetPoint software and scrolling in FF works fine for me.

I suspect it's more to do with your set-up than either a FF or SetPoint problem.
