about:config
Mozilla developers have taken their eye off the ball when doing all the wonderful programming they have failed to keep documentation for about config up to date. We the users do at least deserve up to date documentation, it is not difficult to do just keep web page http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config_entries amended with each change. it has not been updated since 2017

From a post in Sept of 2019.
There are no Mozilla developers here.
Read the sidebar.
REF: The End.I'll be moving the site into readonly mode, to prepare to archive it in the next little while, starting with the KB, then the Forums.

Re: about:config
Also see http://www.mozillazine.org/about/ and that there is no *.mozilla.org links on top and or bottom like a typical *mozilla.org page.
The mozillaZine about:config kb article was the most vandalized kb article as some thought it affected their own about:config settings in Firefox as it was very easy to create a KB account before. This kb article was also hard to keep up to date due to preference settings changing over time and coming and going and hidden ones etc.
Some preferences were not listed in the http://kb.mozillazine.org/about:config_entries kb article as they can be listed on say http://kb.mozillazine.org/Category:Preferences and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Mail_and_news_settings
Mozilla used to make use of this independent mozillaZine forum until they got their own support forum and kb going at support.mozilla.org
Mozilla does have a kb article about the about:config though no article for the preferences. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ab ... or-firefox

Re: about:config
I've been upgrading the Thunderbird knowledge base articles as I port them to a different wiki. However, I haven't ported any of the Firefox articles and don't plan on doing so. I don't have the time. I had expected to finish porting the Thunderbird KB articles over 6 months ago.
