Settings change after FF90 update-Linux (solved)

Linux Mint 19.3 - Firefox 90-
In /edit/settings/Privacy & Security/Permissions
Warn you when websites try to install add-ons
Normally, for settings, the two items in the Exceptions would be deleted.
No matter how many times this is attempted they do not go away.
I've modified permissions.desktop-notification.notNow.enabled - from false to true in hopes to at least know.
This seems to me to be dangerous, particularly when it comes to maintaining setups if not security, unless there is a better explanation?
It would be nice if there was a way to by-pass any automatic access like this from any site

Is this Linux specific?
Is this FF from a Mint distro (rather then from the FF release)?

Don't feel bad, on Windows it looks like 4 items (stick around).

Is your mentioned Pref expected to do what it is that you're looking to do?

Would policies.json handle that, https://github.com/mozilla/policy-templ ... eappupdate?

Doubtful policies.file would solve problem as it covers the ftp and addons urls needed for updates when in private mode.
No reference in about:config for either and using carat?
Is Linux distribution for Linux Mint 19.3 haven't installed in 20.2 to see if it can be dealt with.
Also appears to allow some unwanted udp penetration from aws, google and cloudflare.

Ain't no stink' ftp in FF 90 .

Possibility it may be Mint Mate for flatpak/xdg portal or some necessary download process, like downloading new or updated OS.
Have used Firefox for OSImage downloads and these come from ftps in some cases and it's worked fine.
. . . but both urls are Mozilla so unlikely for image permissions.

Could this be a means of maintaining FTP capability in Firefox? OS enabled to by-pass Mozilla.

This appears to be consistent in Linux Mint Mate 20.02 and Firefox 90.
Same items cannot be deleted.

about:config => permissions.manager.defaultsUrl => resource://app/defaults/permissions

You can possibly clear this pref to an empty value to prevent the default permissions from getting loaded.

@dickvl - Blanking the item appears to have resolved the issue.
In checking other set visible permissions appear to remain as they were.

P.S: The Mint Forum suggested permissions.isolateBy.privateBrowsing
This also appears to work without the possibility of allowing unseen changes in default permissions
No idea which is best but my little voice tells me the Mint suggestion may be a little better but no way of knowing
There does appear to be an increased UDP traffic with dumping the string from permissions. manager?

Update: If using the item: permissions.isolateBy.privateBrowsing you need to close the browser and reopen.
Discovered this when updating a laptop, removed the two exceptions closed the window and reopened they were still there.
Closing and reopening Firefox fixed it.
