ESR Release Numbering Scheme has been corrected.

Post by WaltS48 »

It looks like the next ESR is going to be version 92.0 released on 2022-06-28
REF: Release Management Calendar

It was a 92.0, 92.1, 92.3 and so on.

wonder why?

wonder if after that they'll name 93 the following ESR :D

wonder if Thunderbird will follow ? my guess is a Yes

wonder if 92 is supposed to be really 103 ? but without 103 in the UA

It was a 92.0, 92.1, 92.3 and so on.

I am confused by this. You say the next Firefox ESR will be v92.0 but as I read it from the chart on the page you pointed to I see what looks like v102.0 as the next ESR.

What am I getting wrong?

You didn't click the link when the page was inaccurate, and I did strike out the line that mentioned it was changed.

Then added the sentence.
It was a 92.0, 92.1, 92.3 and so on.
I think this topic can be locked.

David19 look at the History of that page.

Also it was indeed a error.

I most certainly did not want to create a problem or to step on any ones toes. And when I asked my question WaltS48 had not made his correction.

Thank you all for the information. I'll go back to just lurking now.
