Show all downloads window open all the time?
After the latest update my Firefox thinks it needs to inform me the latest download has succeeded. That is information I can do without. Anyone know how I can turn this off? I looked in the Settings but could not find anything.

Trying going to about:config and set browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel to "false".

I have done that, but still get the downloads popup window.
Any other ideas.

That should have fixed it. Perhaps you have the problem addressed in this article.

There's another preference which may help but it's there for coders, I suspect, rather than users so it will cease to be effective at some point. browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel (change to false).
