Does places.history.expiration.max_pages no longer work?

Post by dindog »

I used to set it in a larger number in order to store my visited history entries about 1 year.
But today I find myself can't find a visited url no more than 3 month, and I the places.sqlite is replaced by a smaller one compare to the last time I notice.
So does the "places.history.expiration.max_pages" no longer work? And what is the proper way to enlarge the storage size for Firefox 101?

I've a backup file of places.sqlite about half year ago. But I don't find a way to migrate old vistied history to my current one.

kindness enough, Firefox detect my hard drive has a low available space, decide that my history is not import at all, purge it without any user prompt or alert.
